Ndou Safaris is situated in the beautiful Soutpansberg just 60km in driving distance from the Pontdrift border entering Botswana and offers eco-tourism, weddings, conferences and outstanding breakaways.
Ndou Safaris consist of three neighbouring farms each with its own lodge and game. On one of these three farms we have Ndou Safari Lodge which was built and opened in 2015. Exquisite African accommodation in the perfection of nature comfortably accommodating up to 30 adults.
The lodge was built in the middle of two wings consisting of 6 rooms on each wing. Attached to the lodge we have the other 3 rooms. The lodge and all our 15 rooms have a spectacular view overlooking the pool, boma and waterhole area.
The lodge has no fence around it and allows for animals to come and visit our guests on the lawn. Although we do offer game drives, a number of different species can be seen at the waterhole in front of the lodge including Gemsbuck, Nyala, Duiker, Impala, Warthog and even Leopard and Elephants.
At Ndou Safaris we strive to give guests top service, delicious food and a homey environment ensuring guests to leave with lifelong memories.

Luxury in the African Bush
Our 15 spacious rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 30 adults featuring air conditioning, queen-size beds, wardrobes, dresser tables and chairs. All our rooms have en-suite bathrooms which includes towelling and amenities.
The lodge also offers a dining room that can comfortably sit 30 adults, a 24-hour coffee station, indoor fireplaces and a bar with a TV, DStv and Wi-Fi internet access. The lodge is surrounded by a wooden surface leading to the beautiful pool area overlooking a drinking hole for the animals, and last but not least, every evening at Ndou Safaris is ended off enjoying the spectacular sunset around the campfire sharing the day’s memories.

At Ndou Safaris we have a variety of game such as Bush pig, Warthog, Duiker, Steenbuck, Klipspringer, Wildebeest, Kudu, Eland, Impala, Gemsbuck, Waterbuck, Blesbuck, Nyala, Zebra, Giraffe, Elephants, Buffalo, Jackal, Hyena, Leopard and free roaming Lion.
Game Drives
Our game drives are 3 hours long and aren’t done in any specific area as we cover all areas over a period of time. Our game drive vehicles can comfortably sit 9 adults so drives should be arranged accordingly depending on the size of the groups. We can’t guarantee specific sightings on any drives.
Fishing
Fishing at Ndou Safaris mainly includes catfish and bream fishing. This activity takes place at any convenient time during the day and will be charged according to the specific needs of the guests.
Bush meals
We offer romantic bush dinners, family bush braai’s, bush lunches and picnics for any occasion. This ensures an extra special breakaway and a personal encounter with nature.
Weddings
Your Special Day
Ndou Safari Lodge is perfect for small intimate weddings allowing more attention to finer detail. Wedding receptions can be set up at the lodge or at one of our breath taking bush spots.
Accommodation rates are inclusive of all activities during the wedding including the wedding feast, accommodation the night of the wedding and breakfast the next morning.
The venue hire includes the following:
- Exclusive use of the entire lodge and venue
- In house wedding planner
- All tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and glassware
- Waiters and barman
- Gate and vehicle security
- A bottle of sparkling wine with a snack platter in the bridal suit the night of the wedding

Conferences
We make it happen
Ndou Safari Lodge offers enough indoor space for conferences for up to 30 people. The lodge gets set up specifically for conferences as required by the specific needs of the guests.
We have two conference options:
- The basic package that includes pens and paper, usage of the coffee station, juice and water and a basic platter with samosa’s, sausages, quiches, three cheeses with crackers and fruit kebabs.
- The Full package that includes pens and paper, usage of the coffee station, juice and water and a full one course lunch.
